The insurance group published very good figures for the 2022 financial year, with an operating result at its highest since 2007. The 2022 financial year ended the second three-year cycle of the group’s strategy, aimed at transforming Zürich Insurance into a simpler, more innovative, and customer-centric organization. According to the CEO, Mario Greco, the financial objectives set have been exceeded and the group has demonstrated its agility and ability to execute the strategy in a particularly difficult environment characterized by high volatility. The company therefore begins 2023 with a very strong capital position, a solvency ratio of 265%. The combined ratio of the “Property &Casualty” segment was at 94.3%, driven by the continued improvement in margins. These good results have led management to propose a 9% dividend increase for 2023.
