IAM Cycling
His first victory at the second stage of Tirreno-Adriatico in March left him wanting more. At 25, Matteo Pelucchi is ready to fully take on the success reserved for sprinters. And the World Ports Classic over two stages at the end of this week presents him with nice opportunities. The Italian professional of IAM Cycling confirmed this just before leaving for the event.
We have a great team to go after a win. I prepared myself well this week. I did two training sessions behind a scooter to get some rhythm and Wednesday I was out for a longer tour.
Matteo insisted on the values of the Swiss professional team.
In Dunkerque we proved our collective value and there is no reason that it does not work out as well at the World Ports Classic. My sensations are good as I currently have a great condition. And with the Aregger, Brändle, Hollenstein, Ista, Klemme and Kluge we are ready to go work hard battle for the victory.
