IAM Cycling
In view of its strict policy against doping, and in accordance with the extension of its partnership with the University Hospital of Geneva, which provides independent medical monitoring of the riders throughout the year, IAM Cycling joining the Movement for Credible Cycling (MPCC) is a natural result of these initiatives.
IAM Cycling made this commitment on October 23, 2012, at the MPCCs General Assembly, which was held on the eve of the presentation of the 2013 Tour de France. The MPCC, currently led by Roger Legeay, was established in 2007 at the instigation of the professional teams that decided to take a zero tolerance stand against doping in the sport. This uncompromising position is particularly evident when prohibiting the recruitment of any rider who has been suspended for more than six months due to a doping scandal; this initiative extends beyond requirements imposed by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). Eleven teams currently comprise the Movement for Credible Cycling.
