IAM Cycling
With the Circuit de la Sarthe already on the IAM Cyclings dance card for this week, and with Paris-Roubaix in their line of fire for Sunday, April 7th, the Swiss professional team will be looking for results in early April, according to the sports manager, Serge Beucherie.
Stefan Denifl will be joining the team after having recovered from the illness he caught during his ride at Milan-San Remo, while teammates like Thomas Löfkvist, Matteo Pelucchi and Marcel Wyss will be working together to have IAM Cycling as prominent and successful as possible in all up-coming races.
With the Circuit de la Sarthe coming at this time on the calendar, it has always been a perfect testing ground for riders who wish to perform well at the Ardennes classics, Beucherie said. But we are not looking at this race as only preparation; we are coming to the Circuit de la Sarthe with real ambitions. Thomas Löfkvist won this race in 2004, and his motivation will be increased by the fact that we will be celebrating his 29th birthday on April 4th. We will certainly want to make an impression throughout the week.
