IAM Cycling
The World Championships road race in Florence turned into a nightmare for Martin Elmiger.
After suffering a heavy fall on the wet Italian circuit, the 35 year old Swiss professional from the city of Zug went to the University Hospitals of Geneva to undergo extensive testing.
In addition to multiple wounds all over his body, the IAM Cycling rider also suffered a non-displaced fracture of his right clavicle. The injury will not require surgery.
