IAM Cycling
In recent weeks the classics have given way to stage racing.
After a successful first Tour of Romandie, which saw Matthias Brändle winning the points classification, Marcel Wyss finishing in the top 10, as well as the entire team taking 4th in the team classification, IAM Cycling is prepared to move their attention further north.
The Tour of Norway is on the menu for eight of the riders under the direction of Kjell Carlström and Eddy Seigneur.
While preparing the schedule of races for the rest of the season, Serge Beucherie repeats the creed that has been a familiar motto for the group all season:
We always start every race with the intention of being one of the primary influencers, and with the goal of winning a stage. In Norway, we have a great group of guys who will be able to shine on various terrains. We can go into the sprints confident in the strong finishing kick of Matteo Pelucchi, but we can also rely on the breakaway attempts by riders like Marcel Aregger, Reto Hollenstein and Sébastien Reichenbach, to say nothing of the experience guys like Hinault, Larsson and Tschopp will bring; with them we can aim for a place in the general classification.
